Affordable, frequent Mumbai flights bring visitors to this marvelous city which is home to rich colonial architecture, a vibrant culture, beautiful beaches and religious structures. Although there are literally thousands of potential ways to spend your time in Mumbai, this list encompasses the top 5 places that every traveler should include on their itinerary.

1. Cruise Mumbai's Harbor: Although the city itself is full of fascinating landmarks and attractions, often the most unique perspective is from the water. Try to arrange a boat tour through the harbor in Mumbai if possible. There are expensive private yachts complete with private chefs and champagne at the top of the luxury category, but there are also plenty of more affordable options as well.

2. Experience Bollywood: The film scene in India, known as Bollywood, is firmly rooted in Mumbai. For a genuine chance at experiencing the filming and production of a Bollywood film, head to Film City in Goregaon, where many of the local movies are made. If you don't have time to see the production firsthand, at least try to catch a showing of a local film. The experience of watching it with locals is exciting and truly a new way to get a glimpse into Indian culture in Mumbai.

3. Visit the Beaches: A favorite pastime for Mumbai locals is to head to the coast and relax on the beautiful beaches. While few people think of Mumbai as a beach destination, in reality there are several stunning destinations to both the North and the South that are easily accessible. Mumbai flights will actually bring you quite close to the Girgaon Chowpaty beaches. While swimming is common among children, most locals simply head to the beach for a chance to relax, read and spend time with friends and family. Be sure to taste some of the delicious foods sold at the beach by local vendors.

4. Architectural Tours in the Gateway to Mumbai : Mumbai is a unique city because it is home to traditional Indian buildings as well as many colonial structures thanks to many decades of British rule. The sheer number of interesting architectural sites can be overwhelming, but a tour is often the best place to start. Be sure to include destinations like Fort St. George, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sanghralaya, the High Court and the Victoria Terminus.

5. The Five Gardens: There are many parks and recreational areas in Mumbai, but the Five Gardens is perhaps the most beautiful. Visit in the mornings to explore the area on foot in relative solitude, taking in sights like the surrounding colonial homes and even Art Deco buildings. At night, however, Five Gardens gets busy as a central meeting location for nearby residents and is a fun and exciting glimpse into local culture.

Each of these five destinations are a wonderful way to experience Mumbai from a new perspective.

D. There is an array of tourist destinations to visit in the region, and this is one of the main reasons why the capital of the region alone receives more than ten million tourists per annum. Here, we will explore some of the best tourist attractions in the region.

Getting There

One of the best things about Italy is that there are so many low cost airline carriers who fly there. You have two options when flying to this region and they are Florence and Pisa. However, while Florence may seem like the obvious choice as the capital of Tuscany, few carriers fly there. Pisa is a much bigger airport, which is why many choose this airport for low cost flights to Italy.

Tourist Attractions

With over 120 nature reserves and six designated World Heritage Sites Tuscany has something for everybody:

Centre of Florence – as one of the most historic cities in the world, Florence looks like the ideal postcard picture. The great thing about this centre is that you are never more than a stone throw away from some of the finest examples of culture in the world. While in the centre of Florence, make sure you explore the Uffizi Gallery. Furthermore, make sure you spend some time exploring the small fashion boutiques.

Monte Argentario – based right on the south coast of Tuscany, this town has some wonderful sites like the church of St. Erasmus. However, many choose to come here because of the fantastic coastline, which looks simply amazing. There is also a wonderful long sandy beach, which many people enjoy coming to in order to relax.

Val D'Orcia – while in this popular region of Tuscany, you need to take in some of the breathtaking sites. Furthermore, this is one of the best regions for wine tasting in the whole of the country. This means you should try and get to a vineyard if possible. While in the area, make sure you explore the small city of Pienza, which is a World Heritage site. While in the city, make sure you go to the centre and look around the Duomo (cathedral) that eclipses the city with its size.

Siena – gathered in ancient walls, Siena has plenty of museums, which makes it ideal for the culture buff. It is also another of the World Heritage sites that plays host to over 150,000 tourists per annum. If you are in the city at the right time (July 2 and August 16) make sure you go and watch the Palio di Siena (horse race), which is one of the most exciting non conventional races in the world. With over 660 races held since its start, this event draws in roughly 50,000 people per race.

Parco dell’Uccellina – this nature reserve is arguably one of the finest in Tuscany. There are many wild animals roaming about this reserve, including; boar, deer and turtles. Furthermore, you will find a range of Italian birds that you will not see anywhere else in the country. This makes the nature reserve special.

These are just a few of many tourist attractions in the area. In fact, when you take into account the amount of World Heritage sites and nature reserves, those who visit the region are really spoilt for choice.

D. The film The Man With The Golden gun was filmed on Koh Ping-gan, also known as “The James Bond Island”.

Pattaya:

This particular city has gained a seedy reputation over the years. However, you decide to stay away from the bars (suggested) you will be just fine. The city has much more to offer then tourist believe. Such attractions are the bottle art museum and the floating market, the largest in the world.

Koh Samui:

Koh Samui is famous for two incredible things: scuba diving and their parties. One party in particular attracts up to 30,000 people every time and that is the Full Moon Party. A once a month event that will last all night. Very cool to see and experience for any tourist.

D. Except, you don't know where to go. You've been to so many places. Seen so many things, but now you are ready for something new, exciting, but what? I'm here to solve your problem, seriously. There are so many things you probably haven't done you should not have a problem finding something to do. Listed below is a compiled list of places you go see and explore. I guarantee you haven't done everything on this list!

Cricket In India
India is well known for their curry and their wanna-be Hollywood named Bollywood. Yet, there is something there that is even more historical and that is cricket! The sport has been around for more then 290 years!

Visit The 9/11 Memorial
New york has shut down the memorial area since the attacks, but it will be opening up this year! Why not go see the preview of the new beautiful garden and waterfalls? The memorial is truly a work of art. Giving honor to both the victims and their families.

The Wonders Of The World
Have you seen the 7 wonders of the world yet? Most people haven't but as a traveling enthusiast I urge you to get it crossed off your list as soon as possible. Why not take a trip to Rome and see the Colosseum where thousands were massacred. Or perhaps you aren't into bloody-historical places. Perhaps you would like to go and see the Egyptian pyramids? Which still stand after thousands of years!

Random Trip
Go to the airport, train station, or local bus station and just buy a ticket to the farthest place they go to. Not many people can do this and if you have the freedom to do so, you should! Think about how fun it can be. Not knowing who you will meet, or what you will do when you get there. Now that is an adventure.

Isle Of Man Motorbike Race
2011 takes this annual race to a whole new level. I mean age. . . The race in 2011 will be 100 years old and it hasn't changed much. Still a place where tax dodgers dwell and outdoorsy come to play Isle Of Man turns a new face in May and June for the race. The race attracts 50,000 people or more so you can be sure that you will meet a few new faces.

2011 shouldn't be a boring year for you. Start it off on the right foot, or end it with a big bang! Get out there and explore our world!

D. Filled with culture, history, and people it is one of the best countries to visit. Since the country is so large it shouldn't come as a surprise that one of the best ways to travel is by train. Almost everyone travels by the train. So that means you will be doing so too! But there are some things that you will need to know before you can just board. That is, if you don't want to feel like a tourist and get ripped off.

Tip #1 - Some people buy food on the train (tourist), but real Chinese know that you should never buy food on the train. Its overpriced, small-portioned, and has a terrible taste. So be prepared to buy a sandwich from Subway, a few sodas or beers.

Tip #2 - If you are planning on traveling during a holiday, or a week or two before it get ready for a trip! Book your trip as early as possible. In China students are able to book their trips early and there are a ton of students. I can't stress the importance of booking early, showing up early, and boarding early.

Tip # 3 - Get there on time because almost all the time the trains will leave on time. You will rarely encounter a train ride that leaves after 5 minutes of its scheduled departure time.

Tip # 4 - The best places to buy your tickets are at the kiosks in most cities. I can't tell you how many times I have had to delay a trip because of the ridiculous line at the station. Most kiosk will only charge you a small 5 kuai fee. Its worth it when you get to where you need to go on time.

Tip # 5 - Traveling by train is not exciting by any feat so buy some entertainment. You can have a portable dvd player, ipod, magazines, or perhaps even a book? Your entertainment is up to you but just be sure you have enough to last your trip. You will mostly be traveling by night so you won't see too much scenery.

Tip # 6 - Theft is common on Chinese trains so make sure you are very careful with your belongings. Keep everything close to you and invest in something to secure money and other essential paperwork to you.

Please keep in mind that you are in China on a Chinese train. You will see things that normal Chinese do on your trip. Such as spitting on the floor. I know it's disgusting but there isn't much you can do about it. So just sit tight and get through it!

D. Why? It is because it is like fun is multiplied with the number of people involved. Traveling on your own can be a bit boring unlike when you are in a group, it will be all fun and of course, your expenses will be lowered down. If you are on your own, you will be spending a fortune if you are not careful.

Here are some tips on how to make your travel with friends more fun:

1. Engage in activities that everyone agreed to join.

There are different things that you can do as a group. You can do trekking, kayaking, mountain or rock climbing and many others. Be sure that everyone agrees to join and be part of the activity. One bad thing about traveling with friends having one being left out and not doing anything because she or he does not want to join. Remember, travel should be fun and not all about serious stuff.

2. When it comes to eating, do it as a group.

It will be a great bonding time when you do eat together with your group of friends. You can simply chill out, enjoy more time with friends, and share some thoughts and ideas while eating. It does not need to be eating at a fancy restaurant, a decent one would do. In this way, you will be spending less on food and got some cash on other things.

3. Do not plan everything out, have some room for out of the blue ideas.

Do not be so meticulous about planning everything out. Be sure that there is room for some out of the box ideas wherein you and your friends can go and simply be gaze away by time without having to worry about anything. Of course, when it comes to your flight, this is something that you guys might need to be serious about or else all of you will be left behind.

4. Go with the flow and crack some jokes every once in a while.

Do not be the Hitler in the group wherein you command all your friends that we do this and that. You could be the go with the flow type of person and be the clown as well. Crack in some old good jokes when there are some times when things get boring a little bit.

D. Are your kids all grown up and are married? If your answer to these questions is yes, then surely you are in a good situation to retire and have fun with your life. After all you have no more obligations for your kids, and certainly at this age, your house is fully paid and your retirement fund is waiting for you to be spent.

However, you must remember though that if you spend your retirement fund like there is no more tomorrow, sooner or later you will see yourself going down financially and maybe filing for bankruptcy. But this is not the case that you picture yourself right? Therefore, you must be certain that whatever you do, you will spend wisely and never be a spender.
One good way to relax and simply enjoy your life is through having a retirement vacation. But this does not mean you need to spend thousands of dollars in order to get the perfect vacation for you and your partner.

The following are tips on how to have a perfect retirement vacation without to spend huge sum of money and yet you can relax and have fun:

1. Mini-vacation.

If you want to save money big time, it would be much advisable to go on mini-vacation. In this way, you will be spending less every once in a while. Good examples of mini-vacation include a day in a spa, having picnic with friends, a movie night out and many more. What makes these three inexpensive? It is because you do not need to spend money on airfare, visas, and pay for accommodation. It’s convenient on your part yet you will not be guilty of spending too much.

2. Island getaway.

Now, this is something for sure you will love doing especially when you are together with your partner or simply want to getaway with stress and all the busy life in the city. One way you can save money here is through visiting nearby islands where you are located. Do not go far away not unless you have the money to splurge. Always go for a 3days-2nights vacation, you do not want to stay longer since you might run out of things to do or stay for overnight it might spoil the fun and you end up not satisfied.

3. Eco-Tour

If you are the type of person who loves nature and would want to get closer with the environment, you try the Eco-Tour. Mostly, you will be doing trekking which will include hours and hours of walking in a rainforest with no access to transportation and food. Be sure you bring enough food and water to keep you energized for the entire trip. This will be a good exercise and way of relaxing as well.

Bottom line, when it comes to the perfect retirement vacation always go for affordable alternatives but if you do have the money you can go as grand as you can.

D. This is not one set of falls, but two -- the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. These are very close in size, though the Horseshoe Falls are larger. The cascading water stretches for seven hundred and ninety meters on the Canadian side and three hundred and twenty meters on the American side. The Horseshoe Falls are also taller, standing at a height of fifty-three meters; the American Falls rise only to a range of twenty-one to thirty meters.

No matter which side you are on, the falls are magnificent. You can see both sides from wherever you stand along the fenced border. The thunder of so much water falling is like nothing else, drowning out all other sound. A constant fog hangs in the air, made up of the spray from these great falls as they explode upon the boulders at the bottom. At night, bright lights of different colors are shown to play through this fog or to illuminate the water. It is truly breathtaking.

There are a lot of places to stay and things to do near the falls if you are there on a trip and have some time to spend. The Canadian side is a little more open and wild, a little more the way nature intended things to be, so this is ideal for walking along the trails and thinking about what it must have been like for the first explorers to find the falls there in the wilderness. The American side is built up to a large extent, offering bars, restaurants, hotels, gift shops, and casinos for those who want to cross over and be a part of the festive night life.

If you are coming to Canada to see the falls, you should look into trip cancellation insurance. For visitors to Canada insurance can be a good idea just in case something happens that is out of your control that causes you to have to cancel your trip.

D. In 1981, The Great Barrier Reef was selected as a World Heritage Site. The reef supports a wide diversity of life and was labeled one of the seven natural wonders of the world by CNN.
To help limiting the impact of human use, like tourism and fishing large part of The Great Barrier Reef is protected by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Runoff, cyclic population outbreaks of the crown-of-thorns starfish and climate change accompanied by mass coral bleaching are other environmental pressures on the reef and its ecosystem.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 379px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TT9eaMTLmXI/AAAAAAAAAMM/ovyrYH-ZWlA/s400/the-great-barrier-reef-the-largest-colar-reef-in-the-world.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566271468524509554" />
The Great Barrier Reef is an important part of local groups' spirituality and cultures, because it has long been known to and used by the Torres Strait Islander and the Aboriginal Australian peoples. Generating AU$ 1 billion per year, tourism is really an important economic activity for the region, 27 islands on the Great Barrier Reef supported resorts as of 1996.
Due to their accessibility, Whitsundays and Cairns are centres of the concentration of tourism on the Great Barrier Reef, no matter that they make up only 7% of the Park's area, also, they have their own Plans of Management. The reef is a very popular destination, especially for scuba divers, due to its warm clear waters, accessibility from the tourist boats called “live aboards” and vast biodiversity and there are daily boat trips offered from many cities along the Queensland.
As of 1996, most of the tourism in the region was made up by domestic tourism, and the most popular visiting times were in the Australian winter. Now people from all over the world go there to see the magnificent site. Tourists contribute over a billion dollars per annum.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TT9egt3XfpI/AAAAAAAAAMU/GRjlzK4BR-A/s400/the-great-barrier-reef-the-largest-colar-reef-in-the-world-island.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5566271580613869202" />
There is a concern amongst the general public that tourism is harmful to the Great Barrier Reef, so the management of tourism in the Great Barrier Reef is geared towards making tourism ecologically sustainable and there there is a daily fee levied, with the money going towards research of the Great Barrier Reef. Also, policies on cruise ships, anchorages and bareboat charters limit the traffic in the area.
In 2005 the tourism in the Great Barrier Reef, as the largest commercial activity in the region generates AU$5.1 billion annually. Yeach ear over two million people visit the Great Barrier Reef and most of these visits are managed in partnership with the marine tourism industry.
A variety of cruises and boat tours are offered, with boat sizes ranging from dinghies to superyachts for asingle day trips or longer voyages. The helicopter flights are popular as the underwater observatories and the glass-bottomed boats. But due to water super high quality, the outer part of the Great Barrier Reef is by far favoured for the most popular tourist activities like diving and snorkeling.

Visit The Smoke that Thunders, Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya)

The Smoke that Thunders (Mosi-oa-Tunya), or Victoria Falls waterfall isn't the widest or the highest waterfall in the world, but it is claimed to be the largest waterfall in the world due to its largest sheet of falling water in the world, based on a width of 1708 metres (5604 ft) and height of 108 metres (354 ft). The Victoria Falls is located on the Zambezi River and like another big waterfalls is sitting on the border of two countries Zimbabwe and Zambia.
There is no need of obtaining a visa in advance, but visas issued at the border are much more expensive ($100-$150). Also, expect to pay between $50 and $150 each time you cross the border. The original name of the waterfall is Mosi-oa-Tunya which in the language of the local tribe, that called it that way, means The Smoke That Thunders. The first European to visit the area, David Livingstone named the falls "Victoria Falls" after the Queen of England.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TTid4n6GzuI/AAAAAAAAALM/j77Viycbox0/s400/visit-the-smoke-that-thunders-the-victoria-falls-mosi-oa-tunya.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5564370935727181538" />
To date, approximately 300,000 people visit this spectacular natural wonder annually and in the next decade this number is expected to rise to over a million. Victoria Falls has more Zambian and Zimbabwean visitors than international tourists unlike the game parks as the falls are accessible by bus and train and therefore comparatively inexpensive to reach.
The Victoria Falls airport is 13 miles from Victoria Falls town , but you can stay in Zimbabwe. There are Ilala Lodge, Stanley and Livingstone Hotel and other hotel options near town. There is also a casino and craft market.
You can take a relaxing boat ride on the Zambezi Rive or go rafting through Bakota Gorge to get a thrill by white water. Expirience the many activities near the Victoria Falls. If you are a little bit crazy you could bungi jump off the Victoria Falls Bridge.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 265px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TTie-eE4xeI/AAAAAAAAALU/AwGNXSTm5Us/s400/visit-the-smoke-that-thunders-victoria-fall.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5564372135678887394" />
Also, be aware that some diseases like malaria are prevalent in some African countries, so take appropriate health precautions. Contact your physician or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to make inquiries about preventative medications and vaccines.
Victoria Falls, like many tropical locations has a dry season and a wet season. The footpaths are easily accessible, during the dry season, from June to January. You can see small islands springing up on the crest of the fall as the flow of the river decreases. From February to May, during the rainy season both the pathways and the face of the waterfall are completely shrouded in mist so it's impossible to view the falls on foot.
During the wet season, the spray sent up from the Victoria Falls is often visible from up to 30 miles away. The foundation of the First Gorge is visible by the end of September, because the water flow is at half of the rainy season capacity, and it is then possible to hike to the gorge's bottom from the Zimbabwe side.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TTigkUhpvoI/AAAAAAAAALc/_piRaGUFGSA/s400/visit-the-smoke-that-thunders-victoria-falls-mosi-oa-tunya.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5564373885461839490" />

Visit The Great Wall of China

If you are going to China a Great Wall tour is a must! The Chinese Empire built a series of stone and earthen fortifications to protect the northern border against intrusions by various nomadic groups. Since the 5th century BC have been built several walls and they are referred to collectively as the Great Wall. It was built and maintained from the 5th century BC through the 16th century. And between 220–206 BC is built one of the most famous part of the wall, but little of the of that wall remains, by the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TTR11Crr5II/AAAAAAAAAKc/JJiJwFxVkDY/s400/visit-the-Great-Wall-of-China.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5563200993823024258" />
The majority of the existing wall was built during the Ming Dynasty. Stretching from Lop Nur in the west to Shanhaiguan in the east along an arc that roughly delineates the southern edge of Inner Mongolia, The Great Wall is the most famous wall in the World. There is 359 km (223 mi) of trenches, 5259 km (3889 mi) of actual wall, and 2232 km (1387 mi) of natural defensive barriers like rivers and hills, altogether making 8851 km (5500 mi) of wall.
Around Beijing are located the most popular sections of the Great Wall. Heve Beijing's climate in mind, because there is more rainfall and it's colder on the Great Wall's mountain sections. If you can, visit it couple of times in different seasons to get a quite different scene.
In the winter the wall and the mountains are offering you an awesome snowy scene, covered with snow in winter. In this time of the year tourists are much fewer but the weather is very cold, even freezing. The Badaling Section of the wall is crowded with Chinese tourists during the Chinese New Year. Expect temperatures from 0 to 10ºC (32-50ºF).

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 322px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TTR1r6D7ObI/AAAAAAAAAKU/wOtkNr2QkHQ/s400/visit-the-Great-Wall-of-China-map.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5563200836889950642" />
During spring the plants and trees turn green and the wall is full of lush beautiful vegetation. It is not too cold, and it is not too hot, so it is nice and everything looks fresh. Also it is a great time to avoid the summer and autumn tourist crowds. Temperatures vary from 10 to 25ºC (50-77ºF).
Summer comes and The colored leaves and blooming flowers dot the mountains in the Summer. Like a silver necklace, The Great Wall snakes its way standing out clearly in the strong mountain sunlight. Usually you can enjoy blue skies and temperatures over 25ºC (77ºF) in summer at the Beijing Great Wall. Bring waterproofs just in case, because during July and August most of the year's rain falls.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 299px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TTR1YU0K2XI/AAAAAAAAAKM/kvUik-dVxRU/s400/visit-the-Great-Wall-of-China-summer-July-2006.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5563200500474239346" />
The colours of red, yellow, golden and brown are rulling the mountains in the fall, creating magnificent view and the weather during this time is pleasant. Often fall is recommended as the best season to visit, but there are too many crowds because of this. Temperatures are almost like in the spring - from 10 to 20ºC (50-68ºF)
Trainers could be the best choise of shoes, because the steep inclines along the wall. Sorry ladies, but, you should never wear high heels on a hike on the Great Wall, because in any event, they are hazardous in such locations, also, you will quickly suffer from fatigue.
Your Great Wall hike may last for couple of hours, so take a good supply of water and some snacks. You can purchase it on the Badaling section but at a much higher price, maybe because there are no sales on other sections on the Great Wall. Don't drink too much water, because there are no washrooms or toilets midway other than those around the entrance and the ticket office.

Visit The Ancient Nabataean City Of Petra

Maybe you've seen it on some Indiana Jones film or some other movies. But you ain't seen nothing if you don't visit the ancient Nabataean city of Petra, which was recently voted as the seventh wonder of the ancient world with over 100 million votes placed, according to the nonprofit organization New7Wonders that conducted the poll. In 1985 the area was designated a World Heritage Site. "One of the most precious cultural properties of man's cultural heritage.", that's what UNESCO described the magnificent place. Also Petra was chosen as one of "the 40 places you have to see before you die" by BBC.

If you are interested in specific details, you can find them throughout the official Nabataea web page. You can move through the city or read about the ancient Nabataean people who built Petra, the amazing merchant empire that impacted much of the world from China to Rome.
The builders of the tombs were Nabataean sculptors and not imported slaves or laborers, which can be seen from the inscriptions. The Nabataean people transported their dead to the tombs for proper burial. Most likely Nabataean religion and culture encouraged people to think of them spending eternity along side of their relatives and family.

To sustain the ancient genuine feeling of Petra, after the bitter complainings from former Queen Noor of Jordan that luxury hotels began to proliferate and uncontrolled development was devastating to the area, today building is more sensitive, controlled to the environmental consequences of over-development.
Best time to visit the ancient Nabataean City of Petra for nice a holiday is between January to the end of May, when the weather is at its best, although by May it is starting to get quite hot and from June until September tourists from northern climates will torment in the broiling hot weather. Still, if you decide visiting the ancient Nabataean City of Petra during these months it is absolutely essential to carry a large supply of water with you! November and December are the coldest months, especially at night.
If you have raced round Madaba, „done“ Amman and wondered at the magnificence of Wadi Rum you must stay longer in this ancient place only rediscovered in 1812 by the young Swiss explorer Johann Ludwig Burkhardt - Petra's Nabatean Treasures demand and deserve attention.

You can arrange your staying at a hotel in Petra already from the the visitor centre, but if you want the best for you, book your tour and hotel before you go, all you need is just some fastcash and go there. Due to its density of predators and prey the Serengeti National Park is widely regarded as the best wildlife reserve in Africa. The diverse habitats ranging from kopjes, riverine forests, grasslands, swamps and woodlands provide opportunity for a high diversity of species - there can be found some 500 avifauna species and 70 larger mammal spices like gazelles, zebras, buffalos and blue wildebeests. There is a proposed road that is to be built through the Serengeti in Tanzania, which started large controversy right now.

Nearly two million herbivores cross the Mara River in pursuit of the rains traveling from the northern hills toward the southern plains around October. The phenomenon is sometimes called the Circular Migration and around 250000 wildebeest die during the 800 kilometres (500 mi) journey to Masai Mara reserve in lower Kenya from hunger, thirst, predation and exhaustion.
The park is also well known for the "Big Five" - the five most prized trophies taken by hunters. The herds of the African Elephants are largely located in the northern regions of the park; they are recovering from caused by poaching population lows in the 1980's. The African Leopard is a reclusive predators that is commonly seen in the Seronera region but with the currently population at around 1000 they are now present through out the national park. Mainly found in the centre of the park and around the kopjes the Black Rhinoceros remain very few due to rampant poaching. The African Buffalo which is still abundant and present in healthy numbers, but due to disease numbers have been somewhat reduced. And last but definitely not least, currently in the Serengeti ecosystem there are more than 3000 lions living - the largest population of lions in Africa. Maybe that is why Disney used Serengeti as inspiration for the animated film The Lion King and subsequent theatrical production.

Due to factors such as disease and human encroachment some Serengeti animal species that formally prospered are now facing extinction. Some of these endangered species are animals that are well-recognized and iconic in Western cultures, referred to as "flagship species" in the World Wildlife Fund. Visiting Serengeti National Park would allow you to see some of them like the African Elephant, Cheetah, African Wild Dog, Black Rhinoceros, gazelle, giraffe, eland, topi, waterbuck, hyena, baboon and impala among with around 500 bird species, inclusive many species of vultures, marabou stork, martial eagle, Kori bustard, crowned crane, lovebirds, strich, secretary bird and many, many more! The Colorado River and its tributaries cut their channels through layer after layer of rock while the Colorado Plateau was uplifted nearly two billion years.
Recent research suggests that the Colorado River established its course through the canyon leastwise 17 million years ago, since when the river continued to erode and form the canyon, but the specified geologic processes and timing that formed the Grand Canyon are the subject of debate by geologists.
Before the European colonization, the region was populated by Native Americans in their caves and other types of settlements within the canyon. Ongtupqa was the name of the canyon in Hopi language and it was a holy place for the Pueblo people. García López de Cárdenas from Spain, who arrived in 1540 was the first European who saw the Grand Canyon.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 266px; height: 400px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TSYlnsAaDnI/AAAAAAAAAIk/vFfD-NcpEqk/s400/Visit-the-Grand-Canyon-2010.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5559172153793449586" />
While the park is open all year, the peak season running from April through October. Plan your visit off season, because the summer months in Nevada and Arizona will dehydrate you, especially if you are interested in hiking. Also Summer means traffic jams, big crowds and heavy use of all park facilities. Get some camping information and when going there, get a good camera with lots of memory capacity, tents, hiking boots, fishing rods, a lot of bottled water, hat, sunglasses and National Park Passes. There are options for guided tour like bus tours or the Grand Canyon Railroad ride, packhorse and mule treks, etc. There are many options if you want to stay for the night, like Grand Canyon hotels, North and South Rim campsites or in- and out-of-park lodging. Some places in some of the campgrounds can be reserved up to 5 months ahead. Get an Arizona fishing license and go fishing. If you want to go hiking, unless you are an experienced hiker, stay clear of the inner canyons and with a fellow hiker bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a map, because you got to know that hiking is a little bit risky in the Grand Canyon. You can also bring your mountain bike, but follow all traffic rules and wear a helmet, because bikes are allowed only on roads that also allow cars. If you have the money go to an air tour in a helicopter or a plain. For something less harming on your pocket, raft the Colorado River, but know that those kind of trips are available only from April to October. For a more extravagant experience, ride a mule around the canyon. Most mule trips are from an hour long to overnight, so be sure what you want and what you can endure.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 261px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TSYlgyR2aiI/AAAAAAAAAIc/_06Km7szI7M/s400/Visit-the-Grand-Canyon.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5559172035218139682" />

Russia-travel opens borders for you!

Wherever you go you should remember some basic details: you need to have your passport with you, enough money either in cash or you should have several credit cards and you should be aware of the language the locals speak. You should also take care about how to obtain visa to Russia and how to do it rather quickly if you have already booked air tickets. Then you should take care about the schedule of your stay in Russia: every day must contain doing sights, tasting national cuisine and so on. Most were built during the Old and Middle Kingdom periods as tombs for the Pharaohs and their consorts. The earliest, built during the third dynasty - 2630 BCE–2611 BCE, is the Pyramid of Djoser. The worlds most famous pyramids are those nearby Cairo, at Giza, several of which are counted among the largest structures ever built. The Pyramid of Khufu at Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid and the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still in existence.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 246px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TQ5D4niY58I/AAAAAAAAAH0/B-dqIqSsKFE/s400/Great-Pyramid-of-Giza.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552450030559356866" />
The sphinx is a mythical creature with a human head and a lion's body. Standing 20.22 m (66.34 feet) high, 73.5 metres (241 feet) long, and 6 metres (20 feet) wide it is the largest monolith statue in the world and the oldest known monumental sculpture. It's commonly believed that the Sphinx was built c. 2558–2532 BC by ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom in the reign of the pharaoh Khafra.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 307px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TQ5DvmLr5yI/AAAAAAAAAHs/cb3VwUJ0abc/s400/Great-Sphinx-of-Giza-1880-partly-under-the-sand.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5552449875576874786" />
Citizens from many nations, including the UK, United States, Canada and all EU member nations can get tourist visas on arrival at an Egyptian airport, but before going, contact the Egyptian Embassy in your country of residence at least one month in advance of your trip to assure yourself whether or not you need to get your Egyptian visa in advance. Despite being, in terms of time, far removed from the modern world, The Pyramids and The Sphinx are only 25km from downtown Cairo and you could take a bus. But make sure that the bus is air-conditioned! If yo don't like busses and the taxi is too expencive for you, you can get Line 2 of the local metro (underground) to Giza station, and then, a miniubus will transport you the rest of the way to the Pyramids and the Sphinx. Over 1000 elephants were used to transport the building materials from all over India and Asia: jasper from Punjab, Lapis lazuli from Afghanistan,jade and crystal from China, translucent white marble from Makranaр, carnelian from Arabia, turquoise from Tibet and sapphire from Sri Lanka. Employing thousands of artisans and craftsmen, the construction began around 1632 and was completed twenty years later.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 219px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TQtVdAhF2GI/AAAAAAAAAHU/OfKgSfZCgEA/s400/the-Taj-Mahal-East-Side.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5551624922507630690" />
The Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. The falls are shared by the Argentinian Iguazú National Park and Brazilian Iguaçu National Park, which were designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1984 and 1987, respectively.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 267px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TQjcQU3_o0I/AAAAAAAAAF0/0Ln4u5qNx6Q/s400/Iguazu-Falls-Devil%2527s-Throat-Argentina.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5550928713773720386" />
The famous Igazu Falls were portrayed in the Indiana Jones movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Also the United States' First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt reportedly exclaimed "Poor Niagara!" when she first saw the magnificent site. Typically, people visit the falls in a two day visit, one for the upper circuit of the falls, one for the lower circuit. You can visit on both sides, but remember that Brazil requires a visa.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 297px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TQjdAilcxDI/AAAAAAAAAGE/OtEC-fHwvUw/s400/Iguazu-Falls-panorama-view.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5550929542087754802" />
Entrance to the falls is $20 for adults and $10 for kids, and if you're coming back for a second day be sure to get your ticket stamped for half-price admission on day. The falls are extremely splendid, so if it fits you, stay a second day to fully explore the National Park at Iguazu. For less than $10 you can buy souvenirs like the really neat Guarani handicrafts and woven bags inside the park. The park offers various a train ride, walking trails, and numerous scenic overlooks to view the falls. Also, for about $45, you can take a boat ride up the Rio Paraguay and into the falls themselves for an unforgettable experience!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 87px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TQjcW7vLwYI/AAAAAAAAAF8/ocwm2Nnch48/s400/Iguazu-Falls-Close-view-from-a-walkway.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5550928827284963714" />

Visit "The Old Mountain" - Machu Pikchu

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 390px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TQZl3XmvQ0I/AAAAAAAAAEk/u3pR5VKdA28/s400/View-of-the-city-of-Machu-Picchu.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5550235592684421954" />

Machu Pikchu, in Quechua – "Old Mountain" is a pre-Columbian 15th-century Inca site located on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru at 2,430 metres (7,970 ft) above sea level. Machu Picchu was built as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti (1438–1472) most archaeologists believe. Often referred to as "The Lost City of the Incas", it is perhaps the most familiar icon of the Inca World. The building started around AD 1400 and then was abandoned as an official site for the Inca rulers a century later at the time of the Spanish Conquest. Although known locally, the site was unknown to the outside world before it was brought to international attention by the American historian Hiram Bingham in 1911. Since then, Machu Picchu has become an one of the worlds most famous tourist attractions.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 252px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TQZl7sUkXUI/AAAAAAAAAEs/cOpRuQawa2I/s400/View-of-the-city-of-Machu-Picchu-in-1911.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5550235666964831554" />

Machu Micchu is highly significant as a relatively intact cultural site, because it was never known to the Spanish during their conquest. It was declared a Peruvian Historical Sanctuary in 1981 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. In 2007, a worldwide Internet poll voted Machu Picchu one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Machu Picchu was built with polished dry-stone walls - in the classical Inca style. Its three primary buildings are the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana and the Room of the Three Windows.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TQZqk-NXVCI/AAAAAAAAAE0/H76e6o5-l-M/s400/Intihuatana-Solar-Clock-astronomic-clock-calendar-by-the-Incas.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5550240774187602978" />

The busy tourist season at Machu Picchu runs from June to August, whith 3,000 visitors a day. So try to travel during the rainy season (October through April), prices drop significantly and there will be fewer tourists. May to October, weather is generally mild, with temperatures cool and little rain, but the prices are significantly higher. Also consider going on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, when the nearby town of Pisac has its large craft market either early in the day (before sunrise), or later in the day (after 3 p.m.), when most tour groups have left. Tour groups tend to stop at the market, leaving the ruins of Machu Picchu relatively quiet. Food inside the ruins is expensive, so pack your own food and drinks. You won't have to eat in a crowded cafeteria, so it will also save you time. If you can afford it, get a helicopter ride to Machu Picchu from Cusco Airport and fly over Machu Picchu. Be aware that during February due to the rain, the Inca Trail, which is a 26-mile trail that leads to Machu Picchu, is closed.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 311px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_G4-Z5jONZD8/TQZsxm-hENI/AAAAAAAAAE8/ij2F3mTbNfs/s400/A-complete-overview-of-Machu-Picchu-as-seen-from-Huayna-Picchu.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5550243190312866002" />

Anthony Hotel San Antonio mesmerizes by its greatness!

Happen to be in San Antonio? Baggage claim region was always the mess & finding ground transport was the chore particularly for out of towns (that is almost everybody). Enter McCarran Rent-the-Car car rental north Carolina Center, facility situated roughly three miles away from airport terminals, unveiled little over one year ago & is probably the airport most needed characteristics.

There’s the free shuttle to Rent-A-Car facility, from outside looks as an arena or mall, but for car corporate galore. Finding the car is not at all a problem & entire process is very easy as a pie. Conveniences do not stop there, there were many airport shuttles from such location & there were check-ins there on peak seasons for expediting passenger processing’s at lasvegas car rental. I applaud folks behind curtains who pulled trigger to execute certain marvelous idea as well. Bravo.

Pros... Just as best rental car center I have never been. Sounds very funny but this may break or make your vacation as well. Think on it, this is a 1st real significant thing you have to do after acquiring your luggage from carousel, correct? Center was very clean, & most significantly out at Vegas, this place has been air conditioned.
Shuttles were clean, drivers friendly & helpful. Do not forget to tip either while they help you along with your own bag(s). There’s even little kiosk that sells all kind of snacks, sandwiches, water, ice cream & another edible items at car rentals Texas .

We have got rental place on no time flats, about ten minute rides away. We even walked in & were greeted with cool, thought out of space. Rental agencies are clearly marked & in 15 to 20 minutes we are in a car & driving away to the Vegas. Lot was big & though not AC was even shaded, but then at Vegas it may be hundred degrees of shade.

D. Where to start? There are so many different agencies. What should I look for? What are my options? Are the ones at airports more expensive?
The smart place to start is on the internet. There you can find reliable comparison sites such comparecarretals.com. This website offers an easy-to-use search engine that can help you a lot in your search.
