New york has shut down the memorial area since the attacks, but it will be opening up this year! Why not go see the preview of the new beautiful garden and waterfalls? The memorial is truly a work of art. Giving honor to both the victims and their families.

The Wonders Of The World
Have you seen the 7 wonders of the world yet? Most people haven't but as a traveling enthusiast I urge you to get it crossed off your list as soon as possible. Why not take a trip to Rome and see the Colosseum where thousands were massacred. Or perhaps you aren't into bloody-historical places. Perhaps you would like to go and see the Egyptian pyramids? Which still stand after thousands of years!

Random Trip
Go to the airport, train station, or local bus station and just buy a ticket to the farthest place they go to. Not many people can do this and if you have the freedom to do so, you should! Think about how fun it can be. Not knowing who you will meet, or what you will do when you get there. Now that is an adventure.

The race attracts 50,000 people or more so you can be sure that you will meet a few new faces.
